Roger Mack was born on January 28, 1978 in
Summerville, SC to Alfreda Esau Brown and Roger Mack Sr. Roger is a 1997 graduate of Summerville High school. During his time there, he excelled in track and field and received numerous recognitions at the state level (2 championships) and national level (ranked in the top 10).
Athletic scholarships lead Roger to attend Wallace State in Hanceville, Alabama to further his education. In that very near future, Roger was afforded the opportunity to train for the 2000 Olympics and qualified for the 2003 and 2004 USA Indoor Championships in the 60m high hurdles. Further in 2004, he qualified for the Olympic Games Trials in the 110m high hurdles. Despite Roger’s passion and persistence for track and field, an injury led Roger to pursue his current entrepreneurial path, which this successful journey has broaden his network and territory.
Roger currently resides in Falls Church, Virginia and attends Spirit of Faith Christian Center in Temple Hills, Maryland. Roger is certified with NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). His specialties are strength training, weight loss, sports achievement, speed development and nutrition. Roger’s territory includes:
• Personal Trainer to local patrons within the metropolitan DC area and Contracted Trainer to corporate offices and NFL athletes
• Recognized national trainer of NBC’s Biggest Loser Season 6 “Green Team” Stacey and Adam Capers
• Co-Founder of Breakfast Bootcamp – an adult training program dedicated to ad vancing the physical and mental health of all participants
• Developer of a Youth Strength and
Conditioning program
• Author for fitness and health for Washington Post and local magazines
• Motivational speaker for fitness and health at health fairs and youth fairs (including the DC
National Park Association- “On the Move” event in recognition of the initiative of First Lady Michelle Obama)
Roger is humbled by his experiences in Summerville, the teachings of his grandfather Rev. Alfred Timothy Esau and he looks forward to the “ordering of his steps.”
